Are We Aligned with Your Needs?
Suitability Assessment Guide
Evaluate Our Suitability as Your Trusted Supplier and Know Your Next Steps

To assist you in making informed decisions, we've compiled this guide to provide a clear overview of our exclusive approach, allowing you to assess if we align with your needs and know your next steps if you decide to work with us.
Quote & Order Confirmation
Our pricing guide includes base prices that reflect variations in fabric, embroidery design, embroidery method, and size, allowing you to establish an estimate based on your requirements. When you submit an order, we’ll process it for a quotation, which will reflect your specific requirements.
Upon receiving your order, we'll send you:
✔ A detailed quotation outlining your specifications, fulfillment timeline, shipping cost estimate, shipping information, and specification sheet per item
✔ A Customer Acknowledgment and Release document outlining our order policies, which you’ll find in detail in one of the sections in this guide
To confirm your order, you’ll need to:
✔ Acknowledge our order policies.
✔ Pay the invoice, which will be issued upon receipt of your e-signed Customer Acknowledgment and Release document.
We offer the option of full payment up front or a 50% deposit if the total quote exceeds PHP 20,000 (approximately USD 350; CAD 500; AUD 555; GBP 270; EUR 320) with the remaining balance due upon production completion.
Clicking the “Confirm my order now” button on the invoice will redirect you to the checkout page, where you can pay via PayPal, debit/credit card, or bank transfer.
Payment Methods
✔ PayPal
• Use your linked checking account or debit/credit card.
• Gift cards are not accepted.
• Shipping address must match billing address for successful PayPal transactions. If shipping to a different country, the invoice will reflect your billing address, but the order will be shipped to the address on the quotation.
✔ Debit/Credit Card via PayPal Express
• Select "PayPal" at checkout, then choose "Pay with debit or credit card" on the PayPal page.
✔ Bank Transfer
•The bank transfer option doesn’t process payments directly. When selected, it provides our bank details on the checkout confirmation page and in the confirmation email. To complete the payment, you’ll need to initiate the transfer via a Philippine bank’s platform or mobile app or an international multi-currency transfer service like Remitly or WISE.
✔ Bank Transfer (Automatic Switch)
• If the connection between our website and PayPal fails, the system will automatically switch to bank transfer.
✔ PayPal Invoice (Alternative Payment)
• If the system automatically changes the payment method to bank transfer and completes the transaction due to a PayPal connection error, we’ll send you a separate PayPal invoice that will allow you to complete your payment securely using PayPal or your debit/credit card.
All payments due shall be made in PHP. Any prices quoted in currencies other than PHP are provided solely for quick conversion and should be considered as indicative rates only. If a payment is made from an account denominated in a currency other than PHP, the actual payment amount is determined by the payment gateway's exchange rate at the time of payment.
Our fulfillment process is structured through a well-defined system that ensures accuracy, efficiency, and seamless coordination at every stage. Your detailed quote and system-generated order number are key to our streamlined order management, which utilizes integrated applications. You'll receive order updates and further instructions through automated emails, which will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
Order slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. To increase your chances of securing a slot, we recommend placing your order at least three months before your desired delivery date, factoring in the potential for a longer production time based on the quantity and complexity of the work involved. Furthermore, please allow for a few weeks for potential adjustments and the corresponding shipping timeframes.
While we take utmost care to ensure a perfect fit for every custom order using measurement photos and a fitting sample, the possibility of inadvertent human error remains. To safeguard you against such occurrences, we offer our Perfect Fit Guarantee. To fully benefit from it, simply submit the required measurement photos as outlined on our Custom Fit page.
For items with intricate embroidery that require a long production period, an additional fitting sample may be provided if the initial fitting is deemed unsatisfactory. This proactive action helps reduce the likelihood of repairs or the need for a full remake.
To set realistic expectations, it's important to understand that crafting our barongs is a meticulous process, primarily done by hand by skilled artisans. This intricate work may experience slight delays due to production complexity, the interdependence of various stages, and unforeseen circumstances. These delays are inherent to the meticulous process, and we aim to provide transparency in anticipating possible changes in fulfillment time. However, it's important to highlight that, depending on your order details, fulfillment may also be earlier than anticipated. We encourage flexibility in timeline expectations for a seamless experience.

Order Checklist
We've compiled this list of essential elements to help you specify your order with confidence. While core information is on dedicated pages, this list provides supplemental guide to help you make informed order preferences.
CAMISA DE CHINO: Essential for Classic Barongs
Crafted from light, delicate fabrics that show through an undershirt, Classic Barongs are best paired with a custom-tailored, long-sleeved Camisa de Chino. We provide this undershirt designed to be worn untucked for enhanced comfort and a polished aesthetic, superior to off-the-rack alternatives.
COAT BARONG: Structured Style with Considerations
The coat barong offers a distinct take on the classic barong, with variations in construction depending on the supplier. Our coat barongs offer a distinct aesthetic with a focus on structure and formality. Here's what sets them apart:
✔Tailored Silhouette: Tapered construction with double vents for enhanced style and comfort.
✔Multilayered Design: Four layers of different materials provide enhanced shape and support. The outer layer, called the shell, is made of the same material as classic barongs. Meanwhile, the interlining consists of two thick materials to provide structural support to the garment. The inner layer utilizes a smooth fabric to minimize friction against the skin.
✔Sturdy Build: The thicker interlining ensures the garment maintains its form.
Important Considerations:
✔Construction: Compared to the classic barong, the coat barong is sturdier and slightly heavier. Due to this construction, coat barongs will not offer a cooling effect, regardless of the fabric chosen for the shell. The choice of fabric solely impacts the aesthetic appearance, not the functionality.
✔Structure: Coat barongs have a structured fit that may feel tighter compared to suit jackets. Unlike suit jackets, which offer flexibility with unbuttoning, coat barongs should be worn fully buttoned. The two-part sleeve design, consisting of the upper and under sleeves, meant to closely contour the body, can limit the range of motion.
✔Undershirt Recommendation: We recommend a cotton off-the-rack long-sleeve shirt with a Henley-style collar for better comfort and sweat absorption. While coat barongs offer sufficient warmth in mildly cool climates, consider adding a thermal shirt underneath for extra warmth in cooler climates.
Breathability
All the fabrics we offer provide breathability, with piña and piña-silk allowing the most airflow due to their open weave structure with visible warp and weft fiber spacing. For maximum airflow and enhanced comfort, select these fabrics with optimal weave and material composition.
Since a Classic Barong is worn untucked, pairing it with our tailor-made Camisa de Chino, which is designed to be worn untucked, improves air circulation, making it feel cooler and more comfortable.
Color
Barong fabrics come in limited natural colors, so they are dyed to expand the color range. However, dyeing presents challenges due to fabric fiber characteristics, embroidery methods, and the risk of fading. Achieving precise shades requires layering dyes and expert craftsmanship.
Dyeing before embroidery adds complexity, as darker colors make threadwork more difficult and increase the risk of color inconsistencies. In contrast, dyeing after embroidery is simpler and minimizes these challenges.
White Fabric Options
If you're looking for a white barong, the closest options are cocoon and jusi.
• Cocoon has an off-white hue rather than a stark white appearance, offering a crisp and elegant aesthetic suitable for formal occasions.
• Jusi is the most basic fabric option we offer for a formal barong. While there are other lower-cost basic fabrics available in the market, we focus on materials that uphold the level of quality and elegance we aim to provide.
Softening the Natural Hue of Piña and Piña-Silk
Piña and piña-silk fabrics have a distinct, naturally warm, yellowish hue, setting them apart from other fabric options. To achieve a lighter appearance, they can be paired with an off-white organza lining and an off-white Camisa de Chino. While this combination softens their natural color, it will not be as bright as cocoon.
For more details, please check our Embroidery Design Classifications page.
Embroidery Design Portal
We offer a range of catalog embroidery designs accessible through our exclusive Embroidery Design Portal. You can conveniently browse our catalog to select a design that matches your preferences. Once your access is granted, you'll be able to explore the available options with ease.
Embroidery Design Customization
For a custom design created from scratch, a custom design from an existing barong from a third-party supplier, or a catalog design modification, we charge a design customization fee ranging from PHP 1,000-5,000 (approximately USD 18-88; CAD 25-125; AUD 28-139; GBP 14-68; EUR 16-81) depending on the complexity of the design.
If the design will be created from scratch, we’ll provide you with two design options in the form of a quick sketch on bond paper. However, if we're using a design from a third-party supplier, we'll skip the quick sketch phase because we can already visualize the design. Instead, upon order confirmation, we’ll proceed to draft the design directly on tracing paper, which will then be used to transfer the design onto the fabric.
Calado is a meticulously handcrafted open-thread embroidery that resembles delicate lace. While it’s a common element, some designs intentionally omit it. Calado serves as a decorative accent in two primary forms:
Accent Calado
This adds intricate detail to the embroidery, enhancing specific areas within the embroidery design to create depth and highlight key elements for greater visual impact.
All-Over Calado
This refers to calado covering the entire front, the entire front and back, or the entire barong. This optional enhancement incurs an additional charge based on coverage area and requires extended production time.
For more details, please check our Embroidery Methods page.
The impact of the embroidery method depends on the fabric, fabric color, thread, and density of the embroidery design. It dramatically affects the barong's aesthetics. It also affects production time:
Hand-guided Machine Embroidery is the fastest among the available options.
Hand-guided Machine + Accent Calado is a balance of artistry and efficiency.
Hand embroidery takes the longest but offer the finest craftsmanship.
To explore the distinctions among embroidery methods and their visual results, please check our Embroidery Methods page.
For more details, please check our Construction Styles page.
Given the potential for measurement variations, we require three sets of photos. Body measurement photos (Set 1) serve as our primary reference. If these are insufficient, we’ll refer to your dress shirt measurement photos (Set 2) along with photos of you wearing the shirt (Set 3). Please note that dress shirt measurements can’t be used for verification unless accompanied by photos showing the shirt being worn.
Ordering classic barongs without measurement photos is at your own risk. Coat barongs, on the other hand, require measurement photos due to their structured design, intricate panel construction, and contoured shape, which require visual references for accurate construction.
For more details, please check our Custom Fit page.
Other Essential Information to Know
Understanding these subjects will help ensure a smooth ordering experience.
We offer a convenient at-home fitting process using fitting samples. A fitting sample is a trial piece tailored to your measurements that you can try on at home. This allows you to provide fit feedback, enabling pattern adjustments prior to the cutting stage. This will reduce potential repair or remake requirements.
The following categories include complimentary fitting samples:
✔Classic barongs made of piña, piña-silk, or abaca-cotton
✔Classic barongs with intricate thread work
✔Classic barongs that are hand-embroidered
✔Classic barongs with non-standard cuts
✔Coat barongs
✔Orders for wedding parties
✔Orders that meet specific conditions
You’re not required to return the fitting sample. Instead, we'll request feedback, pictures, and a short video with the fitting sample. Detailed instructions for this process will be emailed to you once the fitting sample is on its way to you.
Fitting samples are typically delivered six (6) weeks before the estimated order completion date, with a feedback submission deadline of three (3) weeks before the estimated order completion date. These timeframes may be adjusted depending on the specifics of your order. Detailed timing information will be outlined in the fulfillment timeline section of your quote.
Please be advised that overseas shipping charges, which vary by destination and weight, will be applied. If you choose to proceed without a fitting sample, please let us know.
We guarantee a perfect fit for custom-made barongs. If adjustments are needed, simply inform us within 14 days of receiving your barong and provide photos highlighting the issue. We will either handle the alterations ourselves or cover the cost of alterations done by a tailor near you, subject to our third-party alteration allowance. If the barong needs to be remade or if the third-party alteration cost exceeds our allowance, we will provide a replacement at no additional cost.
It's important to note that time constraints on certain orders may prevent remakes. In such scenarios, our liability shall be limited to reimbursement of alteration costs, not exceeding our published alteration allowance or 50% of the item price, whichever is lower.
To qualify for a free adjustment or replacement, please follow our measurement requirements.
For more details, please check our Perfect Fit Guarantee page.
Domestic Shipping
Shipping to domestic destinations typically takes 1-7 business days depending on location within the Philippines.
For orders with multiple items, shipping of final pieces to multiple domestic destinations is provided at no cost. Complimentary shipping is also offered for fitting samples sent to a single domestic destination. However, shipping of fitting samples to multiple domestic addresses will incur a shipping fee per destination, which may be waived depending on the order specifications.
International Shipping
Shipping to international destinations typically takes 3-5 business days, with shipping charges varying based on destination, container type, and weight.
For a single barong, the minimum shipping cost typically falls within the range of PHP 1,400–4,000 (approximately USD 25–70). Estimated rates for specific countries include: Australia (around AUD 70), Canada (around CAD 73), the United Kingdom (around GBP 41), and the United States (around USD 50).
Orders containing three to four barongs usually incur shipping costs between PHP 4,800–8,300 (approximately USD 85–145), while shipments of five or more barongs may range from PHP 8,300–22,500 (approximately USD 145–395).
Fitting sample shipments typically fall within PHP 1,400–6,500 (approximately USD 25–110). These are often less expensive to ship than final pieces due to their lower declared value, lighter weight, and compact packaging.
For orders with multiple items, shipping to a single address versus multiple addresses has its advantages and trade-offs. Here’s a quick comparison:
For Fitting Samples
Single Address
• Pro: Economical.
• Con: You'll need to reship items if your group members are located outside your immediate proximity.
Multiple Addresses
• Pro: Convenient—items go directly to recipients.
• Con: Higher shipping cost.
For Final Pieces
Single Address
• Pro: Economical for shipping.
• Cons: (1) You’ll need to reship items if your group members are located outside your immediate proximity. (2) Customs duties may apply if the total value of your shipment exceeds the minimum threshold set by the destination country.
Multiple Addresses
• Pros: (1) Convenient—items go directly to recipients. (2) Avoid customs duties if each parcel is valued below the minimum threshold set by the destination country.
• Con: Higher shipping cost.
Which Option Is Best for You?
Choose single-address shipping if you want to save on costs and don’t mind reshipping items yourself.
Choose multiple-address shipping if you prefer convenience and want to avoid customs duties on a single high-value parcel.
Import duties and taxes may apply to goods shipped internationally if their value exceeds the destination country's minimum threshold (de minimis value). You are responsible for any inbound charges your local customs authority deems applicable.
The following are the minimum threshold values for certain countries:
Australia – AUD 1,000
Canada – CAD 20
United Kingdom – GBP 135
United States – USD 800

We no longer offer in-person support as we've chosen to focus exclusively on serving a market niche. While we understand the convenience of phone support, we've transitioned to email-only communication, supplemented by Viber/WhatsApp quick chats at +63 916 368 1828 for urgent, non-technical matters.
Our products involve complex technical details that often require detailed explanations and visual references when needed. From our experience, phone communication struggles to provide the clarity and structure needed to effectively convey these intricacies.
Email allows us to present information systematically, incorporating images and illustrations where appropriate. It also enables us to maintain a record of our correspondence, which is crucial when handling custom orders for customers worldwide.
This kind of support isn’t for everyone. For some customers, a lack of in-person support or phone support is a deal-breaker, and that’s perfectly reasonable. If you think this approach will work for you, please feel free to ask about absolutely everything on your mind. We're confident we can address your questions effectively via email.
Understanding Our Custom Order Production Process
A look into the key stages of our production process
Production follows these parallel tracks:
• Fitting Sample Production
• Final Piece Production
The Final Piece Production track has two sequential steps:
1. Material Production
2. Tailoring and Final Touches
The Tailoring and Final Touches step is contingent upon:
1. Receiving feedback on the fitting samples
2. Having finished materials — embroidered fabrics ready for cutting and sewing
Understanding Our Order Policies
We aim to provide a clear understanding of our order processes and guarantees, giving you the clarity and assurance to proceed with confidence. We value your trust, and we've outlined the necessary information for your consideration.
1. Acceptance of Terms of Service
Your purchase indicates your agreement to our Terms of Service, including all referenced policies and conditions.
2. Payment Terms and Settlement
To confirm your order, full payment is required if the total quoted amount is less than PHP 20,000, or if the time between the quote's validity expiration and the production completion date indicated in the quote is less than five weeks. For orders exceeding PHP 20,000, a 50% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due upon production completion. Your order will be released only after full payment is received.
3. Order Timing Considerations
Placing your order with sufficient lead time is essential for us to complete production, ship the item(s), and, if necessary, fulfill the Perfect Fit Guarantee. Any unforeseen delays or issues resulting from last-minute orders are your responsibility, and we are not liable for such circumstances.
4. Order Modification and Cancellation
We will notify you via email once your order enters production. Any modification requests during this phase may be accepted or declined based on the nature of the change and the timing of your request. Canceling your order during production will result in the forfeiture of your deposit or 50% of the total payment, whichever applies.
5. Product Specifications
Your order specifications are strictly defined by the details outlined in the approved specification sheet. Any additional features beyond those specifications are not included unless explicitly agreed upon and may be subject to additional charges. The embroidery designs may be executed using various stitch types, and unless you specify a preference, we will determine the best execution based on our professional judgment. Your order is custom-made and may have slight variations in fabric texture, embroidery execution, or color due to the nature of the materials and craftsmanship. These variations do not constitute defects and are not grounds for refunds, returns, or complaints.
6. Measurement Accuracy
Measurement reliability depends on strict adherence to instructions, and variations in execution can affect the final fit. Therefore, we require measurement photos to ascertain the accuracy of the measurements and ensure that the correct measurements are used. Using photos as a reference in determining the correct measurements has challenges, and errors may arise from the following: (1) failure to provide the three sets of photos as outlined on our Custom Fit page; (2) submission of incomplete photos for any of the sets; (3) photos that do not strictly follow the specific instructions and illustrations for each set. You are responsible for any fit issues resulting from incorrect measurements submitted without supporting photos or visuals.
7. Fitting Sample
If a fitting sample is provided to correct potential pattern errors before cutting, please note that: (1) Its measurements will be derived from your measurement submission, and/or photo submission, and/or the size that you specified. (2) Accuracy depends on your compliance with the required photo submissions. (3) A fitting sample does not guarantee a perfect fit. (4) We assume no responsibility for any issues arising from your failure to provide the required photos and a short video with the fitting sample, or to provide constructive feedback on the fitting sample.
8. Perfect Fit Guarantee
Despite our use of measurement photos, fitting samples, and our industry expertise to achieve a perfect fit, the inherent limitations of any manual process introduce the possibility of inadvertent human errors. We, in good faith, provides a Perfect Fit Guarantee, covering local tailor alterations up to PHP 5,000 for a classic barong and up to PHP 10,000 for a coat barong. If alteration costs exceed these limits, we will remake the item free of charge, provided time allows. If time constraints prevent a remake, local alteration will be the only option, with our liability limited to the published alteration allowance or 50% of the item price, whichever is lower. To qualify for the Perfect Fit Guarantee, you must submit three sets of photos as instructed on our Custom Fit page, along with photos and a short video with the fitting sample when applicable.
9. Unforeseen Delays
Your order may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to supplier constraints, independent contractor delays, natural disasters, shipping disruptions, weather conditions, or customs processing delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by these external factors and will not provide refunds, order cancellations, or compensation in such cases. While we will make reasonable efforts to fulfill your order promptly, delays beyond our control may occur.
10. Import Duties and Taxes
When importing goods, customs duties and taxes may be applied by the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable customs duties, taxes, and fees associated with the importation of goods, and we are not responsible for damages resulting from your failure to pay such duties and fees. Failure to pay customs duties and fees may result in the goods being returned to us or destroyed by the destination country's customs authorities. We have no control over the assessment of customs duties and taxes and such assessments may vary from country to country.
11. Third-Party Alterations and Product Care
Any fit issues resulting from alterations made by third parties after receiving the product are your responsibility. Improper care, such as incorrect washing, ironing, or storage, may affect the product's condition. You are responsible for any damage caused by improper handling after the product has been received.
How to Proceed
To get started, please review our order forms and complete the one that suits your order. Choose between our single-item or multi-item order forms, which are designed to guide you through the selection process. Each form outlines all available options, allowing you to set your preferences easily and keep track of everything necessary to complete your order.
If there’s anything you'd like to discuss or if you’re unsure which options best suit your needs, we'd be happy to assist you.
