You've seen our work. Now, here's a look at our process from the moment you order to the day your package arrives. We wanted to answer the questions most clients have up front, so you can feel completely confident moving forward. Please click each topic tab to see the details.

Quote & Order Confirmation

Our pricing guide includes base prices that reflect variations in fabric, embroidery design, embroidery method, and size, allowing you to establish an estimate based on your requirements. When you submit an order, we’ll process it for a quotation, which will reflect your specific requirements.

Upon receiving your order, we'll send you:
✔ A detailed quotation outlining your specifications, fulfillment timeline, shipping cost estimate, shipping information, and specification sheet per item
✔ A Customer Acknowledgment and Release document outlining our order policies, which you’ll find in detail in one of the sections in this guide

To confirm your order, you’ll need to:
✔ Acknowledge our order policies.
✔ Pay the invoice, which will be issued upon receipt of your e-signed Customer Acknowledgment and Release document.

We offer the option of full payment up front or a 50% deposit if the total quote exceeds PHP 20,000 (approximately USD 350; CAD 500; AUD 555; GBP 270; EUR 320) with the remaining balance due upon production completion.

Clicking the “Confirm my order now” button on the invoice will redirect you to the checkout page, where you can pay via PayPal, debit/credit card, or bank transfer.

Payment Methods

PayPal
• Use your linked checking account or debit/credit card.
• Gift cards are not accepted.
• Shipping address must match billing address for successful PayPal transactions. If shipping to a different country, the invoice will reflect your billing address, but the order will be shipped to the address on the quotation.

Debit/Credit Card via PayPal Express
• Select "PayPal" at checkout, then choose "Pay with debit or credit card" on the PayPal page.

Bank Transfer
•The bank transfer option doesn’t process payments directly. When selected, it provides our bank details on the checkout confirmation page and in the confirmation email. To complete the payment, you’ll need to initiate the transfer via a Philippine bank’s platform or mobile app or an international multi-currency transfer service like Remitly or WISE.

Bank Transfer (Automatic Switch)
• If the connection between our website and PayPal fails, the system will automatically switch to bank transfer.

PayPal Invoice (Alternative Payment)
• If the system automatically changes the payment method to bank transfer and completes the transaction due to a PayPal connection error, we’ll send you a separate PayPal invoice that will allow you to complete your payment securely using PayPal or your debit/credit card.

All payments due shall be made in PHP. Any prices quoted in currencies other than PHP are provided solely for quick conversion and should be considered as indicative rates only. If a payment is made from an account denominated in a currency other than PHP, the actual payment amount is determined by the payment gateway's exchange rate at the time of payment.

Our fulfillment process is structured through a well-defined system that ensures accuracy, efficiency, and seamless coordination at every stage. Your detailed quote and system-generated order number are key to our streamlined order management, which utilizes integrated applications. You'll receive order updates and further instructions through automated emails, which will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

To set realistic expectations, it's important to understand that crafting our barongs is a meticulous process, primarily done by hand by skilled artisans. This intricate work may experience slight delays due to production complexity, the interdependence of various stages, and unforeseen circumstances. These delays are inherent to the meticulous process, and we aim to provide transparency in anticipating possible changes in fulfillment time. However, it's important to highlight that, depending on your order details, fulfillment may also be earlier than anticipated. We encourage flexibility in timeline expectations for a seamless experience.

Order Checklist

We put this quick checklist together to walk you through the decisions you'll need to make before filling out the order form. While core information is on dedicated pages, this list provides supplemental guide to help you make informed order preferences.

CAMISA DE CHINO: Essential for Classic Barongs
Crafted from light, delicate fabrics that show through an undershirt, Classic Barongs are best paired with a custom-tailored, long-sleeved Camisa de Chino. We provide this undershirt designed to be worn untucked for enhanced comfort and a polished aesthetic, superior to off-the-rack alternatives.

COAT BARONG: Structured Style with Considerations
The coat barong offers a distinct take on the classic barong, with variations in construction depending on the supplier. Our coat barongs offer a distinct aesthetic with a focus on structure and formality. Here's what sets them apart:

Tailored Silhouette: Tapered construction with double vents for enhanced style and comfort.
Multilayered Design: Four layers of different materials provide enhanced shape and support. The outer layer, called the shell, is made of the same material as classic barongs. Meanwhile, the interlining consists of two thick materials to provide structural support to the garment. The inner layer utilizes a smooth fabric to minimize friction against the skin.
Sturdy Build: The thicker interlining ensures the garment maintains its form.

Important Considerations:

Construction: Compared to the classic barong, the coat barong is sturdier and slightly heavier. Due to this construction, coat barongs will not offer a cooling effect, regardless of the fabric chosen for the shell. The choice of fabric solely impacts the aesthetic appearance, not the functionality.
Structure: Coat barongs have a structured fit that may feel tighter compared to suit jackets. Unlike suit jackets, which offer flexibility with unbuttoning, coat barongs should be worn fully buttoned. The two-part sleeve design, consisting of the upper and under sleeves, meant to closely contour the body, can limit the range of motion.
Undershirt Recommendation: We recommend a cotton off-the-rack long-sleeve shirt with a Henley-style collar for better comfort and sweat absorption. While coat barongs offer sufficient warmth in mildly cool climates, consider adding a thermal shirt underneath for extra warmth in cooler climates.

Breathability
All the fabrics we offer provide breathability, with piña and piña-silk allowing the most airflow due to their open weave structure with visible warp and weft fiber spacing. For maximum airflow and enhanced comfort, select these fabrics with optimal weave and material composition.

Since a Classic Barong is worn untucked, pairing it with our tailor-made Camisa de Chino, which is designed to be worn untucked, improves air circulation, making it feel cooler and more comfortable.

Color
Barong fabrics come in limited natural colors, so they are dyed to expand the color range. However, dyeing presents challenges due to fabric fiber characteristics, embroidery methods, and the risk of fading. Achieving precise shades requires layering dyes and expert craftsmanship.

Dyeing before embroidery adds complexity, as darker colors make threadwork more difficult and increase the risk of color inconsistencies. In contrast, dyeing after embroidery is simpler and minimizes these challenges.

White Fabric Options

If you're looking for a white barong, the closest options are cocoon and jusi.
Cocoon has an off-white hue rather than a stark white appearance, offering a crisp and elegant aesthetic suitable for formal occasions.
Jusi is the most basic fabric option we offer for a formal barong. While there are other lower-cost basic fabrics available in the market, we focus on materials that uphold the level of quality and elegance we aim to provide.

Softening the Natural Hue of Piña and Piña-Silk
Piña and piña-silk fabrics have a distinct, naturally warm, yellowish hue, setting them apart from other fabric options. To achieve a lighter appearance, they can be paired with an off-white organza lining and an off-white Camisa de Chino. While this combination softens their natural color, it will not be as bright as cocoon.

Embroidery Design Portal
We offer a range of catalog embroidery designs accessible through our exclusive Embroidery Design Portal. You can conveniently browse our catalog to select a design that matches your preferences. Once your access is granted, you'll be able to explore the available options with ease. Please email us to request access when you're ready to place your order.

Custom Embroidery Artwork
Unlike choosing an existing embroidery design from our catalog, options involving new or modified embroidery designs fall under our Custom Embroidery Artwork service. This service covers:

Original Concepts: Having our design team create a brand-new embroidery pattern based on your concepts or ideas.
Inspired Designs: Using a complete design concept you provide.
Catalog Design Modifications: Altering, mixing, or adding custom tweaks to one of our catalog designs.

Custom Embroidery Artwork Setup Fees
All three options require our artisans to hand-sketch and draft a new layout on tracing paper (production draft), which is then used to transfer the design onto the fabric. A setup fee covers this specialized craftsmanship:

Pechera (Front Panel) Designs: Start at PHP 1,300 (approximately USD 22).
Large-Area & Detailed Designs: Fees vary depending on the complexity and coverage.

This is a one-time fee per artwork, so ordering multiple barongs using the same custom embroidery artwork only incurs the fee once.

Design Ownership Note: For original concepts and catalog design modifications, all artwork created remains our exclusive intellectual property. For designs adapted from a client-provided reference, we make no claim of ownership over the original design, but retain rights to our own draft and pattern work used to execute it.

Calado is a meticulously handcrafted open-thread embroidery that resembles delicate lace. While it’s a common element, some designs intentionally omit it. Calado serves as a decorative accent in two primary forms:

Accent Calado
This adds intricate detail to the embroidery, enhancing specific areas within the embroidery design to create depth and highlight key elements for greater visual impact.

All-Over Calado
This refers to calado covering the entire front, the entire front and back, or the entire barong. This optional enhancement incurs an additional charge based on coverage area and requires extended production time.

For more details, please click here (opens in a new window).

The impact of the embroidery method depends on the fabric, fabric color, thread, and density of the embroidery design. It dramatically affects the barong's aesthetics. It also affects production time:

Hand-guided Machine Embroidery is the fastest among the available options.
Hand-guided Machine + Accent Calado is a balance of artistry and efficiency.
Hand embroidery takes the longest but offer the finest craftsmanship.

Given the potential for measurement variations, we require three sets of measurement photos. Body measurement photos (Set 1) serve as our primary reference. If these are insufficient, we’ll refer to your dress shirt measurement photos (Set 2) along with photos of you wearing the shirt (Set 3). Please note that dress shirt measurements can’t be used for verification unless accompanied by photos showing the shirt being worn.

Ordering classic barongs without measurement photos is at your own risk. Coat barongs, on the other hand, require measurement photos due to their structured design, intricate panel construction, and contoured shape, which require visual references for used for verification unless accompanied by photos showing the shirt being worn.

To submit your measurement photos, simply follow the instructions within the order form.

What Protects You Throughout the Process

Here's a quick look at how we handle your at-home fitting, perfect fit guarantee, and shipping so you can plan ahead with zero surprises.

We guarantee a perfect fit for custom-made barongs. If adjustments are needed, simply inform us within 14 days of receiving your barong and provide photos highlighting the issue. We'll either handle the alterations ourselves or cover the cost of alterations done by a tailor near you, subject to our third-party alteration allowance. If the barong needs to be remade or if the third-party alteration cost exceeds our allowance, we'll provide a replacement at no additional cost.

It's important to note that time constraints on certain orders may prevent remakes. In such scenarios, our liability shall be limited to reimbursement of alteration costs, not exceeding our published alteration allowance or 50% of the item price, whichever is lower.

To qualify for a free adjustment or replacement, please follow our measurement requirements.

When placing an order to be shipped internationally, it’s important to understand that your purchase price covers the product and the shipping fee, but it doesn’t include any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees (collectively, "Inbound Charges").

These Inbound Charges are determined and assessed solely by your local customs authority and are completely outside of our control. Therefore, we can’t predict or influence the exact amount.

Customer Responsibility

You’re responsible for all Inbound Charges your local customs authority deems applicable. These fees are typically collected by the courier (e.g., DHL or FedEx) before or at the time of delivery with prior notice. This is standard practice, as the courier often advances these funds to customs on the recipient’s behalf to prevent shipment delays. Import duties and taxes generally apply to goods if their value exceeds the destination country's minimum threshold (de minimis value).

De Minimis Value

The following are the minimum threshold values for certain countries. If your Barong’s value exceeds this amount, Inbound Charges are likely to apply:

Australia – AUD 1,000
Canada – CAD 20
United Kingdom – GBP 135

For other countries, please click here.

Important Update for U.S. Orders

Effective August 29, 2025, the United States has ended the $800 de minimis (duty-free) exemption for imported goods. Imported goods, regardless of value, are now subject to applicable duties, taxes, and fees upon arrival. We encourage our U.S. clients to anticipate for these charges.

We no longer offer in-person support as we've chosen to focus exclusively on serving a market niche. While we understand the convenience of phone support, we've transitioned to email-only communication, supplemented by Viber/WhatsApp quick chats at +63 916 368 1828 for urgent, non-technical matters.

Our products involve complex technical details that often require detailed explanations and visual references when needed. From our experience, phone communication struggles to provide the clarity and structure needed to effectively convey these intricacies.

Email allows us to present information systematically, incorporating images and illustrations where appropriate. It also enables us to maintain a record of our correspondence, which is crucial when handling custom orders for customers worldwide.

If email works for you, we're confident you'll find our support thorough, responsive, and far more useful than a phone call ever could be for an order this specific. If you have any questions before proceeding, please don't hesitate to ask us anything.

Understanding Our Custom Order Fulfillment Process
